We will construct a logical plan, which outlines the efficient use of time and resources, sufficient for peers to be able to follow to create the solution; demonstrates excellent technical skills when making the solution; follows the plan to create the solution, which functions as intended and is presented appropriately; explains changes made to the chosen design and plan when making the solution.
Remember that as you design your game, you should continue to follow the plan that you've constructed. This means looking at your planning drawings and diagrams, and making sure that you stick to it. If you make any changes, remember to justify it in your written work on your website.

CREATE YOUR WORLD - LEARN TO CREATE SCROLLING LEVELS HERE
UP SKILL : Learn to COLLECT POINTS & tell stories
ANALYSE THE SCOPE : Explore FLOWLAB editor function
As you start creating your game, it can be really useful to consider what flowlab is capable of. To do this, browse the games available on the flowlab site (and the ones below) and explore their 'editors'. You might discover some code to use in your own games. Your job is to :
- CHOOSE 1 BEHAVIOUR THAT YOU THINK IS INTERESTING from 1 game
- INVESTIGATE the behaviour in the editor to find the code
- SCREENSHOT the code and upload it to your website
- PRACTICE the code by adding it into your own game
Reflections :
We will be generating data that will help us to reflect on our games. To do this we will use our design specifications and have our classmates play our games. They will fill out our tables for feedback. When we have done this you will need to :
- Create a link to your game on your weebly
- Describe the feedback that you received from your classmates. This could include statements such as : 4 out of 5 gave my game a rating of 5 for story. 3 out of 5 felt that my game needed to be more educational.
- Finally, write some reflections on your game :
- What would you improve?
- What were some of the challenges?
- What do you think works well?
- If you could have another chance to design this game again, what would you do differently?
