For this project I had to produce a stop-motion animation in a style of my choosing. We selected a theme and had to respond to that theme in our animations. I chose 'evolution'. To learn the technique we first experimented with M&M's. We then reflected upon our success so that we could develop our skills for our next try.
For our planning we had to create a storyboard and written piece about our idea. Once we had completed this, we created a first draft of our animation to share with the class for critique. We then went on to complete our final animation that we will be exhibiting later in the year. Each picture below will show you a different step of my process of learning how to animate, and how to communicate an idea through animation. |
